I've searched this news group and find that someone set the
WAVE_STARTUP variable, I tried to set WAVE_STATUP=~/idl_startup.pro in
my .bashrc, and then export WAVE_STARTUP, but this didn't work at all.
What's the reason? Is the system variable I've defined not proper? By
the way, The IDL_STARTUP variable points to the same startup file, and
it works fine when I start a IDL session under terminal.
