Hi,

I am wondering how to import GeoTiff Files in ENVI (version 4.3)
correctly. Opening two GeoTiffs (UTM Zone 32 with WGS84) and linking
them with "Geographic Link" shows that the images are not read in
correctly. There is an "offset" in the cursor position between these
images. To be sure that the images have the correct geo-reference I load
the image into another viewer (Global Mapper). This viewer displays the
images in the correct way. The main difference, the images are mirrored
in comparison to ENVI. Does anybody have some ideas how to get these
files in ENVI correctly?

The second question is how to import tiff file with an attached Tiff
World File. The user-manual describes that after opening such an image
(Import->Generic->geoTiff) a dialog should open where I can put in the
projection. But nothing happens. The image is read in as a standard
image file (without any geo-reference). Can somebody please describe the
correct workflow?

Thanks a lot
