I have the same issue when I add a routine to my website. Adding a
single routine means I have to rebuild the entire library and upload it
all to the server. It's designed to work more with a static library. I'm
not sure how this could be changed without going to PHP or something
similar. That would mean that you would have to host the library with a
web server (now you can put this on a web server or just have it locally).

As far as TeX support, that would be really cool. I would definitely be
willing to add this.

But...ITT VIS owns the source code to IDLdoc. So until they release the
source code under some open source license, I can't do anything. Let ITT
VIS know if you want it released (and by "let them know" I mean contact
tech support, your sales rep, etc.).
