Nope, it doesn't. An earlier version did, perhaps 5.1, apparently it
caused problems for some and was removed rather than fixed, which I
always thought was a bit sad.

You could try GDL, PDL, FDL - all attempt to use the same syntax and are
free, but don't have the entire functionality of IDL. If you want syntax
highlighting in LINUX the best option is probably IDLWAVE.
