I just finished Bill Bryson's book, A Short History
of Nearly Everything. This comment brings it to mind,
because it was so refreshing to hear about science from
a non-scientist's perspective. You do, truly, become
astonished all over again!

It is always nice to know that this old friend we know
so well can still do that to people coming to it for
the first time. :-)
