Hi,
I'm familiar with using READ_JPEG to read jpeg files, but how does one
get it to work with jpeg data in memory using the BUFFER keyword?
I have a jpeg image that is retrieved from a database (using the
dataminer ODBC) and is referenced by a structure with a pointer but
BUFFER wants a named variable.

temp=*data.jpg
read_jpeg,image,buffer=temp

produces a conflicting keyword error??

I'm sure I'm missing something simple so I'd appreciate some input.
thanks
Brian
