There's nothing about the problem affecting other packages on

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/

----------------------------------

The original version shipped with Fedora Core 5 is:

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i3 86/os/repodata/repoview/libX11-0-1.0.0-3.html

The move to 1.0.0-4 seems to be a vulnerability fix

http://www.cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2007-1 667

Seems strange that this could affect IDL. Have you tried turning off
selinux?

----------------------------------

I recently upgraded to Fedore Core 6 and there are no problems there.
