As word to the wise, our entire department is unable to run tv
commands with idl 6.2 without having it "segmentation fault" and
die. Our department runs Fedora Core 5, and idl 6.2, and in the past
24 hours there have the following updates:
Apr 12 04:43:48 Updated: xorg-x11-server-Xorg.x86_64 1.0.1-9.fc5.7
Apr 12 04:44:18 Updated: libX11.i386 1.0.0-4.fc5
Apr 12 04:44:19 Updated: libX11.x86_64 1.0.0-4.fc5
Apr 12 04:44:25 Updated: libX11-devel.x86_64 1.0.0-4.fc5

Since I'm sure that if I report this to RSI I'll get told its a linux
problem, and if I report this to Fedora I'll be told its an
application problem, I'll just wait and see how long untill this gets
fixed. But I thought I might want to pass the word on to others in
case someone is busy trying to debug why their IDL sessions are dying.
