Man, would I love an answer to this problem!

I am trying to run IDL using a Mac plus and Mac-Xwindows. (The Mac is
just a terminal emulator for a big computer.) My problem is, when I
try to make a plot, the window that MacX (or IDL) opens is four times
bigger than my Mac screen and consequently I see only the upper right
corner of the plots. I cannot resize this window, either.

Has anyone encountered such a problem? If so, any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated!!
