Hi,

I just discover fastDL, that allow you to use IDL on a cluster using MPI
library of communication.

- Did somebody alreay try this soft?
- on their web page, they say that it is working only on Linux cluster. A
Mac OSX cluster with MPI installed on it is not very far from a Linux
cluster... Any idea if it would be possible t use this tool on a Mac OSX
cluster ?

Sorry about the multiple posts. Safari was messing up on me and told
me that all of the postings failed.

I'm getting a trail version of FastDL and will be using it to make
some benchmarks on my code. Your mileage may vary. I'm on travel for a
week but when I get back I'll let you know how it goes.

I read the documentation and it seems very easy to use. So the issue
is do you have money to pay for easy?

Have you done a search on this group for FastDL? There are a couple
of threads worth looking at.
