I use the WRITE_GIF function in IDL. As I have to move a
program to WAVE, I need an equivalent function.

I read about this problem several times in this news-group, but
I could not get a solution in my newsdb (http://ezgli2.unizh.ch).

Is there a equivalent function in WAVE.
