Hi,

I'm using the wavelet coherency idl program provided by Torrence and
Compo and it takes forever to run. I'm using quite small timeseries
(14400 data points which can take up to 30minutes) compared to what I
want to use it for (24*3600 data points) and it slows down my
computer, I daren't even use the unix boxes as it gobbles up the
memory and doesn't make me popular, even when I've niced the process.

Does anyone else have this same problem? I don't think there are any
infinite loops in the code, in fact I suspect it's all the smoothing
in scale in time that slows everything down. Does anyone have any
idea how I can make it run quicker?

thanks
T
