I can't give you a definitive answer that everythings OK, but I've had
no problems so far.
I have not run lots of IDL applications, just a few tests which ran
exactly the same under 2.5 as 2.4.
I have IDL version 4.0.1
RSI should be able to supply you with a demo version, or download one
from their ftp site (ftp.rsi.com). Try that before you buy anything.
