These names don't matter..What matters is the kernel (linux - the
brain of the Gnu/Linux OS) and the Gnu C library.

If you don't know what linux kernel is, then please see:
http://www.kernel.org/
If you don't know what glibc is, please see:
http://www.gnu.org/software/libc/
Finally, linux is only the kernel. GNU system + Linux kernel makes up
the complete OS.. It is important to know the difference. Please read
