Hello all!

this is regarding mouse (cursor) calls
on an IDL procedure running on a remote session.
---------------------
I recently enabled X11 access from my new mac so
I can run IDL at home by remotely accessing my office terminal
(which is a Sun running linux :P).

I am happily seeing a beautiful display and a quite nice
speed of forwarding. However, one thing I have not
found how to fix: my mouse.
I have a couple of procedures where I manually
select a section of an image with two clicks of the mouse
(left button), but for some reason this does not work
on the X11 graphics display window. I can see the
cursor and I get a perfect movement speed, but no reaction
to clicks.

I tried opening another remote application with
heavy mouse requirements (ds9) and the mouse
reacted, sluggish but definetely reacted positively.

I have a three mouse button, btw and I tried switching the
3 button emulation option in the X11 terminal preferences
but that did not work either.

in advance, thank you very much for any help!!

Carlos Roman
