Does anyone know whether IDL will run under Solaris 2.5?
IDL was released under Solaris 2.3, and I'm assuming that
2.5 is binary compatible with 2.3, but would like to make
sure before taking the plunge!

IDL technical support was no help. Their answer was
basically "don't know"! (they used bigger words, but
the meaning was no more profound)
