Especially if you are using Google Groups there can be quite a delay to
see your post. I posted something yesterday and I still don't see it on
Google Groups, but I do see it when using Comcast's news server.

Typically it is just a lag in the usenet group processing and posting
of messages, this is not a traditional "forum" as you are probably
used to. Happens from time to time.
