is there any way I can get idl 6.0 or idl 6.1 for mac? From the itt
website only the 6.4 version is available...

It's a certificate problem. The security certificate was issued to
ittvis.com NOT itt-vis.com. So, depending on your security settings,
you may not even be able to accept the certificate. I don't really
understand all this stuff, but itt-vis.com needs to fix it.

Except that after requesting it, the website does not load and you get
an error...
So, anyother way to get idl 6.0 from someone?

On the download pagge, if you select "Previous releases" for the
Product, you get the following message:
"Previous Releases of RSI (sic) Products are available by submitting a
support incident with the link below. We will make the product
available via a special FTP account usually within a day after the
submission."
