Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there is a way in IDL to have a checkmark or
some other bitmap appear next to a dropdown menu item? What I'm
trying to do is create a "View" pulldown menu on a top level base that
can be used to select the current view. This menu would be just like
the view menu in many other windows applications, like Firefox for
instance. When you click on the View menu in firefox it shows a
checkmark next to "Status Bar", telling you that you are currently
viewing the status bar.

Just to be clear, the menu i'm trying to generate would be created
with the MBAR option to WIDGET_BASE, where the base widget is the top
level base in my application.

Thanks,
Mark
