Folks,

Sorry for all the ENVI questions, but the documentation is
wonderful in that it leaves so much for the imagination to
fill out. :-)

Last night, when I left this project, I was reading a
GeoTiff file from disk, making a small change in the file,
then writing it to disk with ENVI_WRITE_ENVI_FILE. One
nice, unexpected consequence was that my new file was
automatically added to the Available Bands list.

This morning, all I did was change my file selection
from ENVI_PICKFILE to ENVI_SELECT, so that I could
get the files from ENVI itself, instead of having to
find them on disk. The files still get written correctly
to disk, but they are no longer added to my Available
Banks list. :-(

Can anyone explain this behavior? Have I missed something
in the documentation?

Cheers,

David
