I also found my old page and dragged it into the correct directory.

It is not very up to date or very cross platform, but it might
be of interest.
Don't all computers use Intel processors now? ;-)

Not really. Ken Bowman ran a few simple tests recently and compiled
the results (including TIME_TEST3), but the page is no longer
available. In the long distant days of yore I had IDLSPEC, which used
TIME_TEST. For fun I dug up the old page and put it back online:

You'll note I lamented the lack of a modern test suite which pushes
around enough data around to overcome various OS/hardware caching
issues, and which adequately probe 3D performance. I'd guess
attention in this area would be very well received.
