Thanks David, you helped me out of the cul-de-sac.
It is a little bit more working than I initially thought of, but now
it seems to work fine.

The usual procedure is not to scale the color bar,
but, rather, to scale the displayed data into the number of
colors you are using. But I know almost nothing about
iTools. Maybe this is the way it works. :-)
