When I first ran the IDL Workbench on one of our Sun boxes I was shocked
at how good everything looked. I simply didn't expect nice, smooth
fonts. This experience should be similar throughout the rest of the UI.
Our feeling is that the IDL Workbench will provide a very modern and
useful tool for IDL programmers.

ok, i'll order it. thanks.
I can live with lousy fonts, fortunately my eyesight
is going on me so I can't even tell if the fonts are ugly anymore.
I'll be happy if I can just have a common set of hot keys to use,
rather than firing off about 20 commands before realizing that
I am in the linux IDLDE (and the groaning loudly).

Cheers,
bob

Yes, and it will put a couple of bucks in Ronn's
pocket, which I think is a good thing. :-)

Without noticing!? The fonts suck in a UNIX browser,
I've noticed. But I don't notice at all in EMACS.
I have no idea about the IDL Workshop fonts. :-)

Cheers,

David
