error with fsc_color [message #56943]

You would have think I would have learned not to try two new things at
once (since if something goes wrong you don't know what caused the
problem), but I installed idl 6.4 yesterday and today I tried using
the fsc_color program, and I find the combination doesn't seem to
work. Helpful sugguestions welcome.
