IDL 7.0, featuring the new IDL Workbench, is now available. If your
IDL license is current on maintenance, we will notify the license
administrator about how to upgrade to IDL 7.0. For more information

I just installed it on my PC (personal license). Looks pretty nice.
I might actually be able to use the IDE to develop on MS-Win...
