I need to come up with a type of notch filter ...

I would like to be able to notch out a frequency and replot in the time
domain ..

I have considered performing an FFT, extract the fundemental freq. than do
an inverse FFT but am not sure if that would give me the results ...

Has anyone tried this or used the Digital Filter function to accomplish
this
