Why do map_set, map_grid, map_continents always use white (or whatever
color !d.n_colors-1 is set to) as the default color screen color, rather than
the current contents of !p.color? I like to have a white background with
black on it, to look closer to my final hardcopy, which I do by setting
!p.background and !p.color appropriately. But the map_* commands apparently
ignore this. Is there any other way of setting the default colors? (Other
than tvlct,/get,... & redefine 0 and !d.n_colors-1 & tvlct,..., which would
add yet another difference between screen and hardcopy plotting routines)?
Cheers
