Folks,

I will say this, grudgingly. It has taken me well
over a week to get my head around it, and I am not
used to working in this way, and I am not at all
comfortable with IDL 7 yet, but I am beginning to
perceive, however dimly, some of its virtues. I'm
even beginning to understand a little bit of how
it works. There is something here, anyway. That's
all I'm saying.
