Hm, it does run on Ubuntu 6.06 in VMWare, although I get some sort of
security exception java.lang.SecurityException: Invalid signature file
digest for Manifest main attribute" (whatever that means???) even when
executing the DE as root. So, is Ubuntu 7.10 the culprit?
