I am looking for a supplement to the built in routine in IDL. I want to be
able to extract a given number of eigenvectors from a tri-diagonal matrix
without having to calculate all of the. I know that similar routines exist
in Fortran in the EISPACK package (TRIDIB and TINVIT). Has anyone knowledge
of these routines in IDL.
