ESRI GRID in IDL [message #57989]

Hi all,

I am working on ESRI GRID image files in IDL. There is a tool to
import ESRI GRID formats in ENVI.

But I do not get it clearly how to import images of the ESRI GRID
format into IDL just as we do with

geotiff, png or others . . . such as read_tiff.

any idea?
