Yeah, that "should" worries me too :)

In the meantime, I should be getting my hands on IDL 7 soon (not sure
why we don't have it already, as a matter of fact). When I get it,
I'll just try and install a Python or PHP plugin and see what
happens. I'll report back, and encourage any other brave soul who
also tries this to do the same :)
