Folks,

I'm putting together a short tour of Europe mid-Feb and plan
to set aside 3-4 days to travel in Holland. What's
on your list of things I *must* see or do while I am there?

Cheers,

David

It is the Fanning unit for the pithy-reply as I from my early IDL
class. I can't remember if it uses an inverted scale or not.

Cheers,
Ben

A raised eyebrow, certainly: what is that 'F' unit you keep referring
too?

:-p

You only covered two...but there are three choices.
-5K: clearly impossible
-5C: not too impressive
-5F: == -20C. That deserves at least a raised eyebrow, surely?

:o)

cheers,

I know what you mean. When Andrew Cool tells me it's 40
degrees in Adelaide I just yawn. Well, throw a sweatshirt
on, I think. ;-)

Not likely, but it would help fund the ENVI kitty
so I can do map projections correctly. :-)

Maybe it's a monetary unit? David can tell his wife: "All the (IDL) advice I have given
out over the past few weeks has netted me 100 Fannings! Awesome!"

If everyone that received help recently donated $10, would that affect the USD/Fanning
exchange rate? :o)

cheers,

paulv

If you really need to stay in Holland for sightseeing, that's fine. If
you want to have good food too (and beer), you should drive 50 km south
and come to Belgium. I can recommend some places in Antwerp if you like :)

enjoy your trip,

Gert
