ENVI 4.4 works only with IDL 6.4. I did manage, after
some discussion with ITTVIS, to get a license that
allows me to work with both IDL 7 and ENVI (using IDL
IDL 6.4). I don't know the details of it, as our IT
person took responsibility for it after I started the
discussions with ITTVIS.
