Folks,

I have been getting lots of good feedback on my nCDF_Browser,
thanks. It is getting better and better.

I ran into an interesting problem today in that some nCDF
files have dimension and attribute names that make ill-formatted
names in structures. I was all set to go get Mike Galloy's
wonderful paper on regular expressions and try to understand
that for the umpteenth time to solve the problem, when I ran
into an IDL procedure I didn't know existed: IDL_VALIDNAME.

This solved all my problems without having to lift a finger
or plow through that paper. Not that regular expressions
aren't important to understand, it's just that I have, uh,
other things to do right now. :-)

Anyway, there are quite a lot of new features in the
nCDF_BROWSER, so if you are having problems, stop by and
try the latest:

Cheers,

David
