This happens (frequently, it seems to me) when IDL exits
in an unorthodox manner. There are two processes you need
to kill. I don't remember the names of them off-hand, but
they are pretty easy to find. One has "idl" in the name,
and the other has "java". I just use "ps -a" to find them.
