HDF5 compound data structure [message #59251]

Hi,
Does anyone knows how to read data saved under a compound data
structure? I am able to open with H5T_OPEN command and to see its
components with H5T_GET_NMEMBERS, however I do not know which command
is able to read them.

Can you post a (small) test file somewhere on your website? It would
be helpful to see what we're dealing with. Have you tried
dd = h5_parse(file, /read)
in IDL to read the whole file?
