Hello,

I'm trying show tilde in a window, for example the character 'à' or
'è' but i can't because always show a strange characters.

I type:

a = 'Tàrrega'
WINDOW 1
XYOUTS 50,50,a,/DEVICE

but never show 'à' good.

u can see the error doing
print, BYTE(a)

the result is
'T' 'à' 'r' 'r' 'e' 'g' 'a'

84 195 160 114 114 101 103 97

If someone has had the same problem or some solutions.
