what is the shift? a few meters? kilometers? thousands km?
Have you used the proper datum in your long/lat? Are you sure the
coordinates are around -52 to -130 (Canada) and not +52 to +130..

definitely be interested!!!

I just found there is a mistake in the projection of the image I used
for reference! Thanks if you're looking ....
