3D plots of data "clouds" [message #6013]

I'd like to create a 3 dimensional plot showing how certain parameters
cluster in a certain 3 space. I've have attempted this with calls to
SURFACE,.../NODATA and PLOTS,.../T3D, but can't get the results I want.
Has anyone developed an IDL procedure to depict multiple sets of data
points in a 3-d plot? Thanks for any suggestions.
