We are getting several Sun Sparc 10 servers. We have the option of getting Solaris 2.1 or SunOS4.1.3.

Does anyone have any experience running IDL under Solaris 2.1 ?

Is there a version of IDL for Solaris or will the current Sun release work under the
binary compatibility mode ?
