Folks,

I've had the need recently to use divergent color tables
(dark colors at the ends, light or white in the center).
I'm always unhappy with IDL's ability to load these kinds
of color tables easily. The Brewer Colors, especially
as implemented by Mike Galloy are great.

http://michaelgalloy.com/2007/10/30/colorbrewer.html

So I have added the ability to use these colors to CTLOAD
and XCOLORS, the two color tools I use to load color tables,
simply by setting the BREWER keyword. (They always had the
ability to do this, but you had to specify the name of the
file. Now the program will look for the file in various
places before it gives up.)

You can find updated files here:

Probably other Coyote files are needed. :-)

Cheers,

David
