Hi,

the following statement works as intended on my good (?) old Win 3.1
as documented in the help file (using IDL 4.0.1):

dsn = PickFile ( filter='*.pro *.cmd')

It opens a Windows and presents all files with either pro or cmd as
extension.

Executing the same statement on Win 95 I always get an empty
file selection windows. (Empty = no names presented).
When I write filter='*.pro' then I get all names with the requested
extension presented.

Is this my fault or a bug in Win95 or IDL ?
