I recently moved onto a new linux box (Centos 5, x86_64), and am
trying to re-set up my .emacs file for idlwave. Somehow though, the
<M-p> binding, which used to take me back to the first history line
matching my input at the command line, just takes me back one history
line instead (same as up arrow).

Does anyone know what setting I need to apply to get this back? My
old habits can't take another blow like this.
