Workbench problem following update [message #60695]

Greetings,
I just allowed the IDL workbench to install an eclipse update to
itself (sorry, I didn't pay too much attention to what it was
installing other than it was a eclipse patch it downloaded overnight).

However, when I restarted IDL I get an empty workbench!

Poking around I find the window-perspective in the menus and open the
IDL perspective which results in an error creating some view and most
of the views reappear. Another problem is that I now get errors
opening the IDL editor.

Is there any easy way (without losing everything I'd already setup) to
'reset' the workbench?
