Hi there,
are you tired of not being able to produce all those weird letters
(ASCII 128-255) that Europeans use (even though your printer supports
it)?
I added an encoding segment to WAVE_PROLOG.PS that takes care of the
problem (for Times-Roman, Helvetica and Courier; more fonts can be added
by editing the file).
This of course only works for hardware fonts, (i.e. you have to put
!p.fonts=0 before you write to the postscript device)
