Thanks for the infos! But then I find it really sad, that obviously
the automatic update notification function is useless, as it would
keep bothering me about "forbidden" updates.
Which in turn means, I need other means to get to know about IDL
workbench updates? Or is it possible only to be notified about the
ones blessed by ITTVIS?
Really sad when good program features become less useful, not only
true for IDL of course. Good example is Windows update. How cool was
that in the beginning? And Now? I have to forbid even only the
downloading of updates (and still they do it "under the table")
otherwise even only downloaded updates can block system functions,
grrrr...
Enough of rambling now.. ;)
