The axis annotations and titles drawn with plot, axis etc. get smaller
when many plots are drawn per page (i.e., with !p.multi set to N rows and
columns). This is automatic - i.e., without the user changing !p.charsize
etc. Is there any way of finding out what character size will be used for
each !p.multi value - i.e. the algorithm used in the axis and plot commands?
Cheers, Tim

When the number of rows or columns is greater than 2 then the font
size is reduced by a factor of 2.0 .
