I did install the 7.0.3 update, so we are on the same page. I have never
tried to use this feature befefore, so I am not sure whether it ever worked.
Puzzled....

Mine seems to be working: IDL 7.0.3 on Windows.

grrr, found out whta is going wrong. This functionality is only available
for files in projects and I don't use these... Haje
