I guess the assumption is that all us programmers have or
are losing our hair because of the stress of our jobs. Clever,
I have to admit.

I would suggest that anyone that is as ticked about this
kind of spamming crap as I am email the poster of this message
some "feedback", with the hopes of making them regret abusing
the internet like this.
